John Kim is Regional Director for ION Commodities, Asia Pacific. He has over 15 years of experience in the sale, implementation and support of technology solutions covering Energy, Commodities, Treasury, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management.
Since 2007 he has been based in Asia Pacific and supported an extensive range of clients across a wide range of industries. Before joining ION Commodities, John held various executive roles at Allegro Development, FIS, Temenos, and Torstone Technology, building high-performing sales and service delivery teams.
Kenneth Foo, Managing Editor, APAC LNG
S&P Global Platts
Kenneth Foo is the Singapore-based Managing Editor for the Platts Asia-Pacific LNG team. In this capacity, Kenneth spearheads Platts' pricing and methodology coverage of regional LNG markets in Asia. In particular, he is directing the development of the Platts JKM and WIM benchmarks, as well as the LNG Market-on-Close process. Previously, Kenneth developed pricing and analysis of the coking coal, metallurgical coke, and steel markets in Asia for Platts. He is a frequent speaker at LNG conferences at major LNG trading hubs across Singapore, China, Japan, India, the Middle East, and the UK.
David Bernal, Head of Solutions Consulting, APAC
ION Commodities
David Bernal is Director of Solutions Consulting for ION Commodities. Based in Singapore, he leads a team of consultants, and has over 15 years of experience in the Energy and Commodities markets.
David brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge in Commodity Management, and has applied that knowledge to a variety of roles and functions within Allegro Development and ION Commodities. He has been based in EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
David and his team assist customers throughout the solution lifecycle by delivering high-quality demonstrations, scoping projects, acting as SMEs during implementations, and leading post go-live health checks to ensure customers fully leverage their solution investments.
